See where we came from, where we are now, and where we’re going!

Kindle Project
Nearly two years ago, we began the tedious process of converting our Office prayer books from the three ring binders to a digital format that could be read on Kindle readers (24 Kindles had been donated to the monastery!)
We are happy to report that this project is just about complete and all of the Sisters and our guests are now using the Kindles in our Morning and Evening Prayers. Friends and Oblates also have access to the files if requested; they can then pray along with our community on their readers at home!

Sr. Vincent Schroeder’s 60th Jubilee
Sister Vincent Schroeder celebrated her 60th Jubilee with the Religious of the diocese on May 1st at Holy Child parish; Bishop Francis Malooly celebrated the Eucharist with us, followed by a dinner.
We will have a celebration here at the monastery in August.

A New Crucifix in our Cemetery!
We will be keeping just one small piece of property in Ridgely so that we will be able to share our final resting places with our Sisters who have gone before us, even as we refound our monastery to Newark, DE.
One of our Oblates, Bill Stotts, donated a new crucifix in honor of his wife and fellow Oblate, Peggy.
The Stations also received new handcrafted wooden roofs, donated by Mark Callahan, the son of Oblate Margie Callahan-Palazzolo.
